PKA distributions of the elements simulated using TENDL-2014; PWR Nuclear Fission plants
This report provides supplementary material to a main report (“Handbook of activation, transmutation, and radiation damage properties of the elements simulated using FISPACT-II & TENDL-2014; Nuclear Fission plants (PWR focus)” [1]). For each element considered in the report, it provides the energy-versus-flux distributions of primary knock-on-atoms (PKAs) under PWR conditions, as a function of elemental PKA type, in tabular form. The isotopic and elemental plots given in the main report are also reproduced for each material section, followed by the series of PKA tables, one for each elemental PKA type. In the tables, which are presented in a four-column format, the PKA energy is given (as the mid-point of the energy group to which the PKA flux corresponds) and then the PKA flux in units of PKAs s−1 cm−3 , which is calculated from the raw PKAs s−1 per target species using the standard elemental densities used by the FISPACT-II inventory code [2].
